The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) of Thomas International is an HR-tool, that provides insight in personal motives of present or future staff members. Without value judgement a participant gains insight in their personality. The profile shows the level of dominance, exertion of influence, the need for stability and the degree of conformity.
Although the test on paper only takes 10 minutes, the reliability of the analysis that follows is so high that the profiling is received by all our participants as recognisable, positive and enlightening.
This test provides an objective insight into behaviours and motivations. The profile does not pass any judgement, but simply reflects the unique configuration of the personality of the individual. Whether the best of the person appears in their function can only be assessed by comparing the personal profile with the job profile.
Star Business uses the PPA often at the beginning of a coaching period, to provide coach and coachee with greater insight in the behaviour and the underlying motives of the coachee.
In management training the PPA is regularly used to give (future) leaders more insight into their style of leadership, their qualities and items that may be improved.
The PPA-tool is also applied to improve the level of co-operation between members of management teams. By means of this effective profile analysis participants will increase the understanding of each other’s character and qualities.
